In the event of an emergency the staff will ensure that the children
are evacuated quickly and safely from the premises through one
of our fire exits to the fire safety point.

The register will be taken to ensure that everyone is safe and
together.

The file of contact numbers and a mobile phone are also collected
so parents are informed immediately.

The nursery is linked to the local fire station so if the bell should
ring, the emergency services will be alerted.

Practice fire drills are carried out once a term or more, to ensure
that everyone is aware of the procedure.
