Our nursery opened in May 2000 to provide a facility for twenty seven
children aged between 18months - 5 years. The importance of establishing high
quality childcare was identified from the start. This is reflected by the
colourful and well furnished design of the nursery and our main aim
which is to provide a happy, safe and caring environment to promote the
all round development of each individual child.
We are registered with Ofsted and we are also registered to take children
funded throught the Early Years Development & Childcare Partnership.

MONTHLY THEMES
Activities and experiences are based on
a monthly chosen theme.
These wonderful experiences include:
cooking — craft — painting — drawing
games — playdough — jigsaws
water — sand — stories — music
dressing up — home corner
Learning through play is so important; they experiment, imagine, discuss & socialise.

INTRODUCTORY SESSION
On taking up a place at nursery we do offer your child an introductory session
(morning or afternoon, whichever is convenient) which lasts for approximately
two hours . We are very happy for the parent to stay with their child for the
duration of the session or we have facilities where you can sit and have a drink away
from the room if desired. This session enables the child to become aware of their
surroundings, other children and a little insight into the routine.

MERCHANDISE
We have a range of quality, hard wearing items availalbe for you to purchase.
SWEATSHIRTS — POLO SHIRTS — FLEECE HATS — SHOE BAGS — BACKPACKS.
They are all displayed in a cabinet in the main entrance. We have a special
introductory pack which is available to children who are new to our nursery.
