Outside facilities
We have a large, secure play area, which has an all weather bouncy' safety surface to minimise any bumps or grazes!

We have various resources to extend the children's spatial and physical development including bikes - climbing apparatus - play house bats - balls
(and grown ups too, for those all important circle games, songs and rhymes).

We also have a large enclosed car park at the rear of the building.
Our garden area is now established. We have planted bulbs and in the spring we plant our summer veggies.

We have a large, secure play area, which has an all weather 'bouncy' safety surface to minimise any bumps or grazes! We have various resources to extend the children's spatial and physical development during free play including bikes, climbing apparatus, play house, bats, balls and grown-ups too, for those all important circle games, songs and rhymes.

We have introduced a scheme which enables the children more freedom to access the outside area during each session. There will be a variety of activities for the children to experience and equipment to explore including familiar resources from indoors. With this in mind, it is vital that you child has a coat with a hat or a hood or sun cream and a sun hat (all labelled!) so that they are able to access the outside area whatever the weather! We ask for parents to apply sun cream to their child before they come to nursery, and we will re-apply their own cream (only), throughout the day (please see the consent forms at the back of the prospectus).

If the weather is being particularly unkind to us, then we will all remain indoors and join together in one of the rooms for some singing or have a big music and movement session. We also have a television with a video, which wemay use during these times.

Our outside area is also used within our curricular planned activities, for example, experimenting with the parachute, or completing an obstacle race!
