We aim to create an environment that involves parent partnership, after all
you know your child much better than we do!
We encourage parents to come and visit us prior to any decision being made.
During these visits the child and parent/s are shown around the premises and
introduced to the team and the room that their child will attend. This is an ideal time
for us to answer any questions that a parent or child may have.
Parents are always welcome in the nursery and if they have any concerns about
their child then they can discuss it with the room leader, manager or deputy manager.
You are very welcome at the nursery at any time and we are always happy
to share information with you about your child so please do ask!
INTRODUCTORY SESSION
On taking up a place at nursery we do offer your child an introductory session
(morning or afternoon, whichever is convenient) which lasts for approximately
two hours. We are very happy for the parent to stay with their child for the
duration of the session or we have facilities where you can sit and have a drink away
from the room if desired. This session enables the child to become aware of their
surroundings, other children and a little insight into the routine.
